I didn't expect a large number of entries, but then again, I didn't expect such a small one, either. You see, ladies and gentlemen, we have only received three entries for Flapping Terror's birthday contest, all in the same category: Art. This means that whomever I declare as 1st place winner, 2nd place winner, or 3rd place winner for Art also wins 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place overall for the entire contest! Each of the winners will receive ONE pixel trophy via e-mail. The 3rd place winner will receive one gift art from me. The 2nd place winner will receive two gift arts. And the 1st place winner will receive three gift arts! All winners can ask me to draw whatever they chose, so long as it's kid-safe.
Now, to declare the winners. Our three contestants are as follows: DarkwingRaptor, IcequeenKitty, and Sandra Boschenhoff.
In third place, this little gem finds our mighty masked mallard looking macho and muscular. Has he been hitting the gym? I certainly bet Morgana would approve! Congratulations, DarkwingRaptor!
In second place, Darkwing takes a well-deserved snooze from a long night of crime-busting in one of the infamous blue chairs. Both Darkwing and Flapping Terror is wished a happy birthday; Darkwing his 15th, this website its 4th. Thank you and congratulations, IcequeenKitty!

In first place, we find an exceptionally well-drawn piece that could easily be a movie poster for a Darkwing Duck movie, featuring Darkwing, Drake, Launchpad, Morgana, Herb, Binkie, and Honker. I especially love how this captures not only the drama of Darkwing, but the heart that goes into the series and its characters. Ladies and gentlemen, our first place winner is none other than Sandra Boschenhoff! Congratulations!

That's right, ladies and gentlemen, an actual contest is being held here at Flapping Terror! This contest is in honor of Flapping Terror's 4th Birthday, so all eyes below for information!
Because Darkwing Duck's 15th Anniversary has just passed on September 7th - and the webmistress unceremoniously forgot about it until the last minute, ^_^; - the theme of the contest is: "Celebrating 15 years of Darkwing Duck Fandom."
There will be FOUR categories, and they are as follows:
If you submit an entry and don't follow the rules below, either your entry will be ignored or you will be banned from the contest, depending on the situation. Here are the rules, so read carefully:
Because I am not sure how many people would actually vote for entries, I have chosen to take it upon myself to judge the entries. Three winners will be picked for each category, from 1st, to 2nd, to 3rd place. Out of 12 resulting winners, 3 overall winners will be chosen; again, they will be in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Yes, there are prizes involved! This is a no-budget site, though, so it's nothing fancy. All category winners will receive pixel trophies featuring Darkwing! 1st place winners will get a gold trophy, 2nd place winners will get a silver trophy, and 3rd place winners will get a bronze trophy. Each trophy will be "inscribed" with the year 2006. You can show it off on your website or just keep it on your hard drive for posterity. Here is a sample image of the trophies:
