Sorry everyone... I couldn't keep my promise, so until further notice, Flapping Terror is officially on hiatus. I deeply apologize, but personal obligations are getting in the way of any updates. Sorry, sorry, sorry... and sorry.

It's become increasingly obvious... I can deny it no longer... I'M NOT MAKING ENOUGH TIME FOR UPDATES! I know some of you must be disappointed in my lack of vigilance, but I can assure you that real life has be keeping me quite busy. College is not a piece of cake, and neither is having a job over the summer as a camp counselor. But I have every intention of making an official update this coming weekend... yes, you heard me right. Be anxious no more, my friends. Just keep in mind that I'm not only busy, I'm tired, so I'm not sure how much I can done. I'll do my best though.
Also, about the issue of webspace for fanart... I think I'll use my first paycheck to finance a premium account at Tripod so I can have more space. If not, I'll use of Tripod's gallery-making templates to house each artist's pictures... as much as I despise the idea, I need to do something so I can encourage you all to send art again! I miss the flow of Darkwing-related masterpieces in my inbox. *sighs*
Perhaps it would be a good idea to hire staff members for the site. If anyone would like to volunteer, send me an e-mail. I'll also be asking around for volunteers at my Internet hang-outs... we'll see what happens. The fate of Flapping Terror is up in the air, but one thing is certain: THIS SITE WILL NOT DIE!

It's so hard to believe how time has flown! What's even harder to believe is how little I've been paying attention to Flapping Terror lately. I do, however, have one big reason for not updating that is no fault of my own-- I am unable to log in and out of my different accounts on Tripod without deleting all my cookies. I have contacted Tripod about this, but they were of no help whatsoever. Another problem I'm experiencing has to do with fan art. As many of you now, I have over 100 pieces of fan art in the fan section. I have two other accounts to cover the space without paying for it, and the first of these is almost used up. Aside from the log-in and log-out problems, in order to preserve space I'd have to move half the pics from one account to the other, and that is a lot of work for one person.
The point I'm trying to make is this: until these problems are solved, I cannot accept any more fan art. Meaning that all future contributions, should you so choose to make them, must not be fan art! Send me fiction, fan character profiles, articles you've written-- anything but fan art, and send a lot of it! I want to keep Flapping Terror going, and I know for a fact that this is possible.

It seems that the website, previously run and abandoned by Freckles, has finally been shut down after all these years, and I had been meaning to scrape up some of their material for safe-keeping (and perhaps to put on Flapping Terror). If anyone has any articles from Darkwing Duck Diary, feel free to send them to me!
