It has come to my attention that Geocities has done away with their web-hosting services. As such, all Darkwing sites that were hosted on Geocities have been tanked. Meaning many of my links are dead. I cleaned them up, but have still left their descriptions up. They will remain up until further notice.

Fixed up a few things here and there, including changing my e-mail links to the correct address. Also, the fanfic section has been revamped so that all fanfic links will lead away from the site to places like FanFiction.Net. In other words, if you want to submit fanfiction to my site, it needs to be hosted on a separate server than this one. It's hard setting up chapters on the site itself, and I'll save a lot of space that way. So really, all you need do is put the fanfic online, send me the link, and I'll post the link in the fanfic section. Easy-peasy.

Happy December, everyone! Only twenty-four days left until Christmas, one of my favorite holidays of the year! I hope, in case I don't update again this month, that you all have a very happy holiday; whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or any combination of the three. I also wish you all a very happy New Year as well. May your smiles be many and last long, and your hearts be full of light and cheer.

Yet another update in the same year? Well, sort of. This is more of a reminder that the Flapping Forum is active. I haven't been checking in on it very often because I didn't think people were actually visiting. I hope we get more members soon...
Also, I am seriously thinking of improving the look of the site. White text on black background? Getting kind of old. I'd have a lot of editing to do, but it would be worth it. I wish I knew CSS coding, but sadly, I do not, so there's only so much I can do. I'm also having issues with space for fanart, and I'm thinking of simply linking to fanfics on different sites (i.e., FanFiction.Net) rather than spending an overload of time making pages for chapter after chapter after chapter.
In case you're wondering what I'm doing that's distracting me from this site... aside from real life, I'm working on multiple personal projects, including fanfiction. I have a Darkwing fic in the works but it's going to be very long, and at the moment I'm still stuck in the prologue. The latest fic I'm focusing on stars Crash Bandicoot. The other two consuming my brain is a SpongeBob Squarepants fic, and a CatDog fic. Speaking of CatDog, I've been working on releasing my own site for it for the past five years... haven't made much progress, unfortunately. When it's finished, however, I'll be making it a sister site to Flapping Terror.

Another update in the same year! Woo beans! This time we've got something good: a new forum! Yup, the Flapping Forum is back in business. Yay! Also, I'm seriously thinking of re-doing the general look of the site. Black backgrounds aren't cutting it anymore, and people might think that I'm not updating the site when I am... so... yeah. Expect a huge change at some point. Later!
... Oh, wait, I almost forgot! I got my snowglobe! WOO-HOO! (I've got a lot to shout about today, don't I?)

Wow, two updates in the same year for once?! And in the same week, no less?! Outrageous!
But seriously-- I added six new pieces of fanart to the N-Z section of the fanart section, and did some tweaking here and there in a few of the profiles in the Profiles section. Also, the links to the Flapping Terror Yahoo! group and the Flapping Forum have both been taken down, as they no longer exist. I'll be looking for a place to host a new forum, and I'll be getting a new guestbook as I cannot access the controls for my current one. Until then, just use my current guestbook if you haven't signed it already, and be patient for the new forum. Thanks!

Aaaaaand over a year has passed since my previous update. *slaps forehead* In any case, here's some (late) Darkwing news: if you collect Darkwing merchandise, there are now two little gems you should add to your collection post-haste!
The first one is a Darkwing statue! You can pre-order one at any of these online stores now! They'll be shipping out during the second quarter of this year.
The second item is a Darkwing Duck snowglobe! It's only being offered through the Disney Store so far as I know, but it looks pretty awesome! The elements used in the globe appear to be based on the first episode: Taurus Bulba is featured on it!! Get it now, because it's on sale for $25 U.S.!!!
I still need to update the site with some fanart and the like, so stay tuned... I swear I'm gonna do it, I swear. Bother me with e-mails if you must. I WILL DO IT.
Oh, and P.S.-- the forum has gone down, and I let it do so on purpose because it turned out to be a dangerous server. I'll be finding a new place for a forum soon.

Wow. It's been almost a year since I've last updated. Scary. Sorry about that, you guys. Life and distractions are always getting in the way. But no matter what, no matter how little I update the site, I won't let it die. I can promise you that.
I've updated the Links page. Unfortunately, I had to delete a lot of links, but I added a couple and even updated some of the older links with new addresses. Small update, yes, but at least it's something. If there are any other dead links I've missed, please let me know at my new e-mail address.
I need to update the Fan Art section with one piece of art sent to me a while back. Speaking of fan art/fanart/whatever, I'm thinking of moving all of the pics to a Photobucket account. I'm also thinking of doing the same for the countless other images on this site. It would save me a LOT of space. I'll think it over and see what happens.
In personal news, I have a Darkwing Duck shirt now! :D Actually, I have TWO of them, both from Hot Topic! Splee! Problem is, the second one miscolored DW's cheeks. Oh, well. Better having a DW shirt with a color mistake than not having a shirt at all. I also have a Darkwing plushie! *much glee* I love him so much! He's so cute! And my dad sent me an old piece of Darkwing merchandise that I used to beg him to let me have as a kid: a DWD magnifying glass. ^O^ Well, the "glass" is technically plastic, but it works very well, and hey, I'm not complaining! ;)
So, anyway... I hope to get in tons more updates before this year is over. A challenge, yes, but it's one I'm willing to take! *salutes* For Darkwing fans everywhere!
